Look closely at the white outer ring of this circular Ketubah, and you’ll find an array of birds and fauna whose forms I have cut into the paper.

In contrast with this light, lacy border, the inner circle is rich with color; the plants that make up the Seven Spices are painted within.  Jerusalem is above, and in between them 24 Karat gold triangles shine through, a symbol of sun and light.
