 " i shall betroth you unto to me with grace , charity and compassion, and judgment  and justice. in the gate on the bottom, a gate that a couple enter to life together. on top is a Kidush cup contain the words the words " i am my beloved, my beloved is mine " a vow of love and devotions. the thyme of the design is of Roses, and lilies, pomegranates and grape vines, vegetation that grow and mention in all of the narratives in the Bible and entwined in the ceremonies and holidays of Jewish life.
